Jax Thai Massage & Bodywork is a massage therapy studio in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I am a licensed massage therapist with more than 10 years of experience in the field. I began my career working with professional athletes and found that Thai massage was a good fit for them. This technique allows for deeper stretches, as it is performed with the client lying on a mat on the floor instead of on a massage table.

I also do traditional table massage.

  • COUPLES INSTRUCTION FOOT MASSAGE

The effects of today’s fast-paced lifestyle as well as a variety of societal disruptions on us are many and far reaching. Isolation and disconnection from each other is, we believe, the most important. Humans are social and need the closeness of their loved ones, both emotional and physical, in order to feel safe. Without this closeness, our bodies and minds go into a state of heighten alert. Blood pressure, stress hormones and inflammatory response increase, leaving us open to chronic disease. Our mental health suffers, leading to poor sleep, substance abuse, domestic abuse and suicide.

It is a public health crisis, one that we must address in whatever ways we can within our own lives. and families. One way we can do that is through couples foot massage, a non sexual practice that will literally put you back in touch with each other.

Jax Thai Massage and Bodywork is now offering this healing service for couples.

You will be led in this practice by a seasoned therapist who will instruct and guide both partners in the giving and receiving of foot massage. At the end of your session, you will leave with techniques and knowledge to continue on in your home.
